Slutsboard respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. As a platform, we comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and provide a process for copyright holders to report alleged infringements. If you believe content on Slutsboard infringes your copyright, please follow the guidelines below to submit a DMCA notice.

 

1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are the copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner) and believe that material on Slutsboard infringes your copyright, please provide a written DMCA notice with the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: Clearly describe the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.
  • Identification of the infringing content: Include the specific URL(s) or other location details on Slutsboard where the infringing material is located.
  • Contact Information: Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Statement of Good Faith: Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement of Accuracy: Include a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Signature: The notice must be signed (either physically or electronically).

2. Review and Response

  • Content Removal: Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Slutsboard will remove or disable access to the infringing content and notify the user who uploaded it. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue in compliance with applicable copyright laws.
  • Repeat Infringer Policy: Users who repeatedly post infringing content may have their accounts banned or face other restrictions as deemed necessary by Slutsboard.

3. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that the content was removed by mistake or that you have the right to use it, you may submit a counter-notification with the following information:

  • Identification of the removed content: Describe the material removed and specify where it was located before removal.
  • Statement of Good Faith: Include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Consent to Jurisdiction: Provide consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area or where you reside (or the jurisdiction where Slutsboard is located).
  • Signature: The counter-notice must be signed (physical or electronic).

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content unless the copyright owner files a court action against the user within 10 business days.

 

4. False Claims

Submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notification is illegal and may subject you to legal consequences. Be sure you have a valid claim or defense before submitting a notice.

 

5. Changes to DMCA Policy

Slutsboard reserves the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
